The grand flagship vehicle of the Jeep lineup, the Wrangler, has been continuously improved in several ways over its 35-year existence. The 2023 version comes in the Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Freedom, Willys, Sport Altitude, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport RHD, Sahara Altitude, High Altitude, and Rubicon 392 trim levels. Drivers have five impressive engine options to choose from.

The first is a 3.6-liter V-6 granting 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The second is a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder providing 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The third is a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V-6 producing 260 horsepower and 422 lb-ft of torque.

The fourth engine option is a 2.0-liter hybrid four-cylinder providing 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the fifth is a massive 6.4-liter V-8 pounding out 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This Wrangler can tow between 2,000 and 3,500 pounds, depending on the chosen engine, while the maximum payload capacity is 1,351 pounds. This Wrangler’s innovative suspension system combines a non-independent leading link in the front and a trailing arm rigid axle in the back. This makes it spectacularly good at maintaining traction on extremely rough terrain, which is essential for rock crawling.

The 2023 Wrangler does more than merely entertain with its competition-breaking off-road capability and overall power. Its entertainment features include an eight-speaker sound system that can be upgraded to a nine-speaker premium Alpine version with a 552-watt premium amplifier. It has a Uconnect 4 infotainment center with a 7-inch display that can be upgraded to a Uconnect 4C with an 8.4-inch display. The infotainment system is available with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth with integrated voice command, SiriusXM satellite radio, SiriusXM Traffic Plus, and Android Auto programming suites.

The 2023 Jeep Cherokee

The 2023 version of the Jeep Cherokee is available in two trim levels: the Altitude Lux and the Trailhawk. The first trim level comes powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine providing 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. The second comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder granting 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The 2023 Jeep Cherokee can tow a maximum of 2,000 pounds. It has a maximum payload capacity of 1,000 pounds.

This Cherokee comes with a six-speaker sound system, but it can be upgraded to a 10-speaker premium Alpine sound system with a 506-watt amplifier. Its infotainment system is a Uconnect 4 with an 8.4-inch display. The infotainment system is available with SiriusXM satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto programming suites.

The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in the Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve trim levels. Two engines are available to power these incredible SUVs: a 3.6-liter V-6 and a 5.7-liter V-8. The V-6 generates 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, while the V-8 grants 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee model can tow up to 6,200 pounds. The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s unified multi-link suspension system grants it incredibly responsive handling. Since it’s also very easy for service personnel to work on, the related maintenance and repair costs are quite low.

This Grand Cherokee features a six-speaker sound system that can be upgraded to a mind-blowing 19-speaker high-performance system with a ground-shaking 950-watt amplifier. It starts with a Uconnect 5 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display but can be upgraded to a Uconnect 5 NAV infotainment system with a 10.1-inch display. The infotainment system is available with Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, SiriusXM Traffic Plus, Apple CarPlay, and HD radio programming suites.

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator is the perfect fusion of a Jeep and truck design. It comes in the Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Willys, Freedom, Overland, Mojave, Rubicon, and High Altitude trim levels. Two engines are available to power these magnificently designed models: a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 and a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6. The Pentastar option grants 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, while the EcoDiesel provides 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.

The second engine’s torque rating is best-in-class for the 2023 model year. The 2023 version of the Jeep Gladiator can tow 4,000 pounds with the first engine and 4,500 pounds with the second. The first engine grants this Jeep model a maximum payload capacity of 1,080 pounds, while the second increases this to 1,200 pounds. Since this Gladiator has the same suspension setup as the Wrangler above, it’s exceptionally well-suited to heavy off-road use.

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator comes standard with an eight-speaker sound system that can be upgraded to a nine-speaker premium Alpine version with a 552-watt premium amplifier. It has a Uconnect 4 infotainment system with a 7-inch display that can be upgraded to a Uconnect 4C NAV version with an 8.4-inch display. The infotainment system features Bluetooth with integrated voice command, SiriusXM satellite radio, SiriusXM Traffic Plus, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay programming suites.
